For the GATEKEEPER coordination team, it was a pleasure to lead the “IoT for Sustainable Healthy Societies” track during this edition, coordinating three sessions when we had the opportunity to debate with international experts about hot topics related with new technologies for a better management of citizens’ health. We were also present at the fair, a great opportunity to interact with other projects and companies and establish possible synergies.
IoT week 2022 conveyed more than 380 speakers (65 ones were online) sharing their expertise and standings on the latest development and the future of technology. The whole week was very lively with close to 700 participants from 49 countries enjoying 115 sessions, workshops panel discussions as well as a Startup Competition, Hackathon, and a great social events and site visits.
The 5th edition of the Global IoT Summit provided an opportunity to reflect on what has been happening in the IoT domain, share experiences and perspectives, as well as present new research findings. Over 40 papers were presented at GIoTS 2022.
