The Gatekeeper project holds its 7th Plenary meeting in Lecce, Italy

From the 28th to the 30th of June, the Gatekeeper project held its 7th plenary meeting at the home of the Puglia pilot site in Lecce, Italy. The event was held at the beautiful Castello Carlo V and it was the first opportunity for most of the Gatekeeper project team to meet in person after the COVID-19 pandemic.

After a warm welcome from the hosting partners, the meeting got underway with a focus on key aspects of the project including the work being carried out at the different pilot sites involved in the project. In the evening of the 29th of June the Gatekeeper team was invited to a delightful evening’s entertainment and food, courtesy of our hosts.

The second day of the meeting was devoted to specific workshops on different ongoing issues within the project such as the recruitment of patients in the pilot sites, the marketplace, the twinning activities, the Gatekeeper platform, the products and services and the project’s contribution to the European Health Data Space. The meeting wrapped up on the 30th of June with a work package leaders meeting and the project committee steering meeting.

It was a fantastic meeting and a lot of progress was made all round.
